CDGA History
The Canadian Depression Glass Association came into being in 1976.
Originally the group began in Western Canada with eighteen members and was, appropriately enough, called The Prairie Depression
(by mail) Glass Club. In the ensuing years the CDGA has grown substantially, with the membership presently numbering in the hundreds.
The Association, over the past 30 years through its Newsletter, has served as a voice for Canadian collectors and dealers alike in their search for Depression Glass and for education about DG.
The members of the CDGA work together as
"Preservationists of Depression Era Glassware".
